Jose M. Martinez II was born and raised in McAllen, Texas. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He then earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2022 and obtained his Texas law license that same year.

Mr. Martinez has been practicing with Gonzalez Castillo Moya, LLP since December 2022 defending a variety of personal injury, medical malpractice, premise liability, and products liability cases. He is actively involved in the Hidalgo County Bar Association and Hidalgo County Young Lawyers Association.
